The logo is a modern take on the classic Golden Fleece emblem that still adorns the pub. Keeping with the familiarity of the signage, we brought it back to life with subtle hints of gold and swirls to keep to the traditional image of the tale of the Golden Fleece.
We chose traditional serif font that is based upon the existing exterior signage of the pub. With some dainty flourishes and swirls to evoke a feeling of the Golden Fleece legend and its voyage across the seas, the identity incorporates a muted palette that is in keeping with the pub’s interior colour scheme.
It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Studio Seventeen on the Talbott’s 2018 company brochure. Studio Seventeen worked well under a tight timescale to produce a brochure which we are very pleased with. It is refreshing to work with such a diligent and creative team and we look forward to future projects with Studio Seventeen, both printed and online.
