The beginning of June saw Studio Seventeen’s exciting re-location to 4 Stoney Street, and we are thrilled to reveal the work and changes accomplished since the initial move.
When we first moved in we were faced with quite a big challenge – much prep work needed on the new, improved and much larger space for Studio Seventeen’s headquarters. So, the team put on their tattiest clothes and really got stuck in, sanding, painting, scrubbing and mopping our new studio space into cleanliness and creativeness!
First things first – a big clean and a lick of paint
We invested a lot of time into making our surroundings representational of Studio Seventeen as a business and an enjoyable environment for working on our clients’ projects.
New signage complete!
We designed some vinyl graphics and we now have a fabulous backlit graphic pointing to some of the unique features of the new studio, and to our neighbours (shout out to The Angel pub!). We also indulged in some of our team’s inner geekiness and created graphics from our favourite retro video game – introducing, our Space Invaders door! We would like to thank The Sign Room for truly transforming our new space into a personalised and professional environment!
Our new studio is ever-evolving and we can’t wait to plan the next exciting project. We’ve been working with some really great people over the last few months, and our space is always lively with interns and other creatives popping in and out of the studio. We’d like to thank Thinkover (Fanni Kopasci) for lending us her talent and transforming one of our desks into something amazing! We have also been lucky to work with the talented SamBillustrates, who has spent weeks designing and painting a brilliant mural on our back wall.
Studio Seventeen 2.0 – our new creative space!
If you would like to see for yourself, come and drop in for a coffee (and a game of darts if you fancy!). You can find us across the road from The Angel Pub at 4 Stoney Street, Hockley, (through the big blue door on the corner)!
