Jamcafé is a music and drinks hub in the heart of Hockley, Nottingham, providing patrons with unique craft beers, natural wines and locally roasted coffee. Hosting weekly performances, quizzes and events, Jamcafé is a long-established icon of the Lace Market business community.
Studio Seventeen has worked closely with Jamcafé for many years now, helping to provide web and design support. Their refreshed microsite needed to showcase their speciality drinks range, their merchandise products, and their playlists through a clean and lightweight site build. Their finished site is fully-responsive, accessible and inviting for all users.

Mobile-First Experience
Through striking page designs, bold typography and a welcoming palette, the Jamcafé site is designed to work seamlessly across all devices. We delivered a mobile-first experience, and based on analytics research, we found that many users preferred to navigate the site through their phones. This led us to ensure that the microsite was as responsive and interactive on mobile as possible.
Experience Jamcafé at Home
Through close collaboration with the Jamcafé team, we were able to deliver a website that invites users to experience Jamcafé’s unique drinks and music before even entering the venue. Content is kept fresh via embedded social feeds and embedded music playlists that the client can control.
